Read Banquet Note Below
Wrestling season is over. We had a very successful season this year, finishing the regular season 8 - 3. We took 11 wrestlers to the Far East Tournament where 8 placed in the medals in the individual competition, placing DAS in 8th place. We then went into the team competition where we finished 7th for the second year in a row.
At this time, I need all Far East Wrestlers to turn in their singlets, bags, headgear and knee pads. I must get an inventory completed in order to close out the season. So if you have not turned in your gear, do so as soon as possible.
I will be adding some new pages to our site for off season. I realize most of you are back on the sodas and junk food but you need to keep proper nutrition and exercise in tact all year. Going crazy now and then trying to cut it all out and get in shape a month before the season begins is not healthy.
So look for new pages soon.
For our banquet, we will be part of the DAS Spring Sports Banquet in May. I want everyone to come out to this banquet and lets have a good time.
In closing, I want to thank everyone for their support and assistance you provided the wrestling team. We have had another fabulous season. Thanks and I look forward to next year when we can continue to make Daegu Wrestling a major factor to deal with in Korea and the Far East Tournament.
